18 and 21/06 Lectures of Andrea Zapp (Manchester Metropolitan University) in Ural State University (Ekaterinburg) and OkNo gallery. In the frameworks of project "Eye 2 Eye".

18/01 Workshop of Vladimir Seleznev (art group SEHR GUT, Ekaterinburg).

2005

28-29/04 "Animation" project "Perfecting superstate. Whitney Biennial in Chelyabinsk" included opening address of curator Konstantin Bokhorov (MediaArtLab, Moscow) for 40(!) minutes and then, next day, a lecture on American video art. Special guests are students of Faculty of Art History and Cultural Studies, Ural State University (Ekaterinburg).

2004

6/06 Lectures by Sandra Frimmel and Katya Albers, curators from Berlin have be held in contemporary art gallery "OkNo". The event happened during German contemporary art festival "Eurovision". Have a look a short photo-report (comments are in Russian).

2002

26/10 Workshop "Fine art in Internet: Russian-language resources" in center "Internet for everyone". Participants; two student groups of future art critics of Southern Ural State University (SUSU) and Chelyabinsk State University (ChSU). The workshop was supported by "Project Harmony" (USA) and FREEnet regional center / SUSU.

23/11 Seminar "Contemporary art: sources, concepts, visual set". It was carried out due to supporting Project Harmony and FREEnet center.

2001

22/03 (project "Vladimir Kravtsev. Collages, artistic objects, installations") there was a meeting of the artist, Tamara Galeeva, faculty of fine art of Ural State University, curator of ársLibri Gallery and Victor Malinov, curator of the White Gallery (Ekaterinburg) with students of fine art school and ones of journalism faculty of SUSU.

The seminar "Using of new materials in creative work of modern artist" was carried out on the same exhibition:
24/03 - with students-designers of the Chelyabinsk Humanitarian Institute (CHI), 2nd year;
5/04 - with students of stage director department of the Chelyabinsk State Academy of Culture and Arts (CASCA), 3d year;
11/04 - with students of the same department of CASCA, 2nd year.

28/04 (project "People + Babi") meeting of Ildar Ziganshin with with students-designers of CHI and Tat'yana Batova, a researcher of Chelyabinsk Regional Picture Gallery.

Seminar "Photography is one of kind of contemporary visual art" took place on exhibitions photographs by Ildar Ziganshin and ones by young photographers"Bamboo":
3/05 - with students of stage director department of CASCA, 3d year;
16/05 - with students of actor department of CASCA, 2nd year;
23/05 - with students of stage director department of CASCA, 2nd year.

Workshop "New techniques and materials in graphic arts" was carried out on exhibition "Elena Rosyp. Lyrical graphic arts":
15/09 - with students-designers of CHI, 3d year;
20/09 - with students of stage director department of CASCA, 3d year;
5/10 - with ones of stage director department of CASCA, 2nd year.

The exhibition "It's very far (?)" allowed to hold seminars "Artist book is rare kind of visual art" and "Approach of a modern artist in organizing his own exhibition":
25/10 - with students of stage director department of CASCA, 2nd year;
26/10 - with students of stage director department of CASCA, 3d year;
27/10 - with students-designers of CHI, 2nd year.

3/11 - meeting with artist Alexander Danilov and piano teacher Irina Shlyapnikova with the pupils of School of Arts and their parents on exhibition "It's very far (?)".

Seminars "Post modernism tendencies in creative work of Refat Mamutov, Nizhni Tagil" on exhibition "Refat Mamutov. Painting, artistic objects":
13/12 - with students of stage director department of CASCA, 2nd year;
14/12 - with ones of stage director department of CASCA, 3d year;
15/12 - with students-designers of CHI, 2nd year.

16/12 There was the whole-day seminar "Radical directions in contemporary art. Internet and contemporary art" that gathered students of journalism, psychology, sociology faculties of SUSU and ChSU; students of stage director and choir conductor departments of CASCA as well as researchers of the Chelyabinsk regional picture gallery.
