P h o t o S e a s o n Press release Contemporary art gallery "OkNo" presents exhibition ZONE OF ALIENATION Idea: Alexander Fokin Departing point of Alexander Fokin's idea became photographs by Chelyabinsk community of stalkers. Action group including Alexander Fokin, Anastasia Bogomolova, Andey Ovdienko, Elizaveta Kolesnikova has created an installation reproducing senses of the stalkers and expanding boundaries of perception of photography. Authors of the project "Zone of Alienation" suggested looking at industrial culture products surrounding us in a new way. You are able to trace the authors's aspiration for imprinting beauty of objects seeming us as ordinary or even repulsive ones. But through prism of another look formerly invisible beauty appear on the photos. Effect of increasing impression is created by exhibition space filled with various objects such as old refrigerator, black-and-white TV set and others. All these things call upon to generate the image of an "zone" where everyone could feel himself as stalker. The authors of the installation aspired to uniting the art works of photographers, engendering something new, alive and shifting as opposed to just creating entourage for the photographs. A result of such common work of authors of photos and installation authors is ability of any visitor to make its own wandering in space "Zone of Alienation".
